Benefit Roller lash mascara is such a pleasant surprise for me. I usually do not like mascaras with a brush that is tiny and more of a comb looking than a real brush since they do not provide enough or barely any volume. I only use them on top of another volumizing mascara to give more definition.
Anyway, Roller lash gives surprisingly great volume, length, definition and a lift.
I like it much better than They’re real for different reasons :
- much gentler formula that leaves lashes soft, and it’s easily buildable if you need more volume
- doesn’t smudge
- easy to remove
You will notice in the photos below what a great volume it gives but it also lift lashes well – I think this is mainly due to formula being so lightweight so even if you do couple of coats it’s not gonna way lashes down and make them fall and look flat shortly after application.
I haven’t experienced any smudging or flaking during the day and I’ve wore it 12+hours . This is really big for me since I do not tolerate having mascara anywhere on my face except on my lashes.
Removal is easy with any kind of eye makeup remover or even cleanings milk or cleansing water.
Two sides of the brush where one has longer bristles and is slightly curved – this side helps lift lashes and deposits more mascara on the lashes.
Other side has significantly shorter and more dense bristles that do great job reaching even the smallest lashes and combs trough to help prevent clumping.
