Capturing the essence of a Burberry glow, the luminous shades fuse flattering, subtle highlighting with runway-inspired yet effortless strobing. Your complexion is illuminated and features are defined by sweeping the pearly, translucent powder across the areas of your face where light would naturally hit.
How to use: Apply the illuminating powder around the edge of the face, onto the temple, the cheekbones, down the center of the nose and along the cupid’s bow to lift and brighten the complexion. It can also be applied to your eyes, décolletage and arms for a flattering glow.
Last spring Burberry released two of the Fresh glow highlighters as limited edition – White and Nude gold and they proved to be huge hit and selling out pretty fast. This spring Burberry added two more shades – Rose gold and Pink pearl and repromoted White and Nude and made them all permanent (that is the rumor let’s hope it’s true).
I am huge lover of highlighters and I can tell you right away Burberry ones are probably one of the best I have tried. They have superior texture – extremely pigmented, silky , smooth and while they are shimmery it is very refined shimmer that does not enhance imperfections nor it migrates. Texture is so soft that it almost feels creamy. I am so happy to see these back and in the permanent lineup. I am still debating if I should pick up Pink pearl too. I felt that Rose gold is more unique shade of the two.
White is great for very pale and cool toned skin – I do not have anything similar to it in my stash. Nude gold is warm beige and will work great on light/medium skin tones (well even on darker skin it would add nice golden warmth to it). Rose gold is truly universal it has enough rose/pink to it mixed with enough warm beige/gold.
And the pattern on these is stunning! True work of art from Burberry.
