Chanel Joues Contraste Mocha is part of the Chanel permanent blush line. It is a dusty mauve braon color. It has shimmer to it but does not appear shimmery when applied with a brush. It has more of a satin finish which is Chanel known for. My experience with Chanel blushes is no matter how glittery is in the pan on skin it becomes more subtle and has more of a satin glow.
Pictured do not do justice to this blush. It looks plain and dupable (that probably is). I think color would vary depending on your skin tone. I am warm toned and this leans brownish on me. Probably on cooler skin tones would look more rosy.
It is very nice everyday blush. Easy to combine with any other makeup you have, more subtle or dramatic. It is also good if you do not want to use bronzer, just to give nice warm glow. It is less orangey version of JC Fandango.
Chanel blushes have strong floral scent that fades after application.
Swatches on NC15/NC20 skin. In Chanel I wear Beige 10/20. Upper one is very heavy swatch. The one on the bottom is blended with brush.
