Is it a must have especially if you have last years Bronze rose or Bronze corail ? I would say no although they are not too close. Last year bronzers were more subtle, with no shimmer. This years are more luminizing. Sabrina did great comparison http://www.thebeautylookbook.com/2012/04/soleil-tan-de-chanel-2011-bronzes-vs.html
Chanel has released two limited edition bronzers in summer 2012 collection. I had my eye on Sable rose since it has been released but could not decide on getting it or not. Couple of days ago during seriously needed retail therapy I broke down and bought it. I was concerned that color is not unique and that I don’t need just another bronzer since I have too many of them…
I would not call this a bronzer – it is more of a glowy blush/highlighter kind of a product. On me it turns pretty orangey but I have no problem with that – I love those kind of a shades that give my pale skin some warmth , color and glow. I wear it pretty much instead of a blush and lightly applied on my temples and down the nose.
I tried applying it with a brush that comes in the compact- not a good idea. It picks up too much product and it does not blend well. It’s probably not bad for a touch up when you are on the go.
Swatch in daylight on NC20 skin
Compact is beautiful with famous interlocking CC and comes with satin pouch. It is also massive with 15gr of product.
I am planing on swatching all the bronzer I have and try to compare different ones from Chane, Guerlain, NARS, MAC, Lancome…
