When Dior releases new highlighter and most of the time they are limited edition I do not sleep on it – I order right away. Promo picture seemed promising enough and I did not regret it a bit.
It has their signature round silver metal packaging with cannage pattern that Dior has been using for their powder products – setting powder, highlighters, bronzers… It is heavy and luxurious looking but I do prefer the old navy plastic packaging.
Nude air luminizer 001 (what a long boring NOT original name for it) in the packaging looks like peachy bronze goodness. On skin at least on mine that has strong warm undertones pools much more golden. Especially compared to spring 2016 releases (note the comparison swatch below) Nude glow. Obviously not even close in color to the Pink glow but I added that one just for comparison.
It is extremely pigmented and firmly pressed product. It has slightly more silky texture than the spring release and blends easily. It is simply beautiful on the skin without any chunky shimmer, just a glow that can be built from subtle to dramatic. I do not use kabuki that comes with it for applying this highlighter but it is good for buffing it if I overdo it (actually I love this mini dior kabuki for applying setting powders, it just buffs them in so nicely).
If you already have Nude glow do you need both? Probably not although there is visible color difference on the lighter skin. I feel on medium and darker skin tones it wouldn’t be as visible.
If you are sucker for pretty packaging, pretty pattern and glowy skin then I would say YES YES YES!
Dior nude air luminizer retails for 56$ and I purchased mine at Nordstrom.
