Essie resort 2015 collection Suite retreat is slowly showing up online and is supposed to hit stores in February. Usually I completely skip their resort collection but this time I was drawn by this stunning purple!
Resort 2015 contains 4 nail polishes: Essie Cocoa Karma, Essie Stones ‘n Roses, Essie Time for Me Time, and Essie Suite Retreat.
I skipped Cocoa karma and Time for me time since I am not big fan of nudes.
Suite retreat is the main color in this collection and it’s easy to guess why. IT IS STUNNING!! It is cool toned purple with very strong blue undertone that has formula that will leave you amazed – one coat gives full coverage! Goes on evenly without streaks and brush strokes. I can’t even describe how amazing this formula is. Essie nailed it with this one color wise and formula wise.
Stones n’ roses is pretty peachy pink or more of a pink with a strong peach undertone. It has slightly thinner formula that goes unevenly with a first coat but gets slightly better with a second one. It is jelly with a very high shine. Bright color that would probably look better against tanned skin and during spring and summertime. Not unique at all – Essie probably has plenty of dupes for this one (first ones that come to my mind are Van d go and Haute as hello).
Essie nail polishes retail for 8.50$ and can be found at Ulta, Nordstrom and Essie.com
