Essie Summer 2017 collection photos & swatches

Indulge in the Essie Summertime 2017 Collection! Influenced by decadent Parisian pastries, these six pleasant shades are here to show you can have your cake and eat it too.

I recently attended a lovely event at Red Door Spa and was thrilled to be invited. Macaroons, treats, relaxing mani and pedi—what more could a girl ask for? I decided to try new summer shades, opting for Eclair My Love for my pedi and S’il Vous Play for my manicure. Initially, I was not too excited when I saw sneak peek photos of the collection, but upon seeing them in person, I realized that this collection contains some real gems, like S’il Vous Play—a purple-pink foil, and Souffle—a white with multi-colored shimmer. Not usually a fan of white nail polish, Souffle has become my favorite from the collection due to the shimmer that makes it unique. These two shades are must-haves. La is another standout shade—while Essie has many blue/teal/aqua variations, this one is distinct and stands out with its fantastic formula. Fondant of You is the perfect summer shade—bright, orange, with a touch of gold shimmer that sets it apart. Baguette Me Not, while not unique, is a pretty lavender shade, easy to wear.
