sun-wash your cares away this summer wearing polishes inspired by 1980s surf culture and sun-bleached beach scenes. the new essie sunny business collection brings the heat with creamy, sorbet-colored pastels that add a subtle or striking wash of color to fingertips and toes.
From the Sunny business collection I picked two shades – Talk to the sand which is one of the most beautiful nudes I have ever seen from essie and Seas the day -gorgeous mint with a tiny shimmer (Beautiful color but somewhat difficult formula to work with. You have to build it slowly and work with only thin coats).
introducing the limited edition essie summer 2020 collection – six bright nail polish shades inspired by wandering through the bustling bazaars of morocco. prepare for passage to experience the awe-inspiring and strikingly vibrant colors.
Summer collection left me wanting this gorgeous purple – Worth the tassel. It’s bright and playful and not like anything I have in my collection. Second shade I picked up is Souq up the sun – which is described as coral and I would rather call it orange. It is lovely in the bottle but I am not too thrilled about it on my nails. I think I need more tan to pull it off and I feel this would look so much nicer on darker skin.
introducing essie’s new midsummer 2020 collection. inspired by a playful midsummer afternoon spent frolicking in the blooming fields with your besties which leaves you feelin’ poppy!
Because having 2 summer collections is not enough let’s talk about midsummer too – this was apparently Walgreens exclusive at first although many complained that they couldn’t locate it anywhere and that distribution was very limited. I was able to find only one shade from the collection and honestly this is the prettiest one – Ruffle your petals which is described as soft creamy lilac. The formula is just perfect.
Two shades below are not part of the 2020 collections but they are so pretty I couldn’t not share them. The first one is the iconic baby blue – Bikini so teeny followed by Geranium – oldie but goodie. It’s a bright orange red.
