Givenchy Gloss Interdit Vinyl

Givenchy Gloss Interdit Vinyl – shiny, luminous to the extreme and outrageously sensual, in a range of 12 intense and vibrant colors. Under the artistic direction of Nicolas Degennes, Givenchy creates Gloss Interdit Vinyl, a gloss with medium coverage for colored, high shine and plumped up lips. Shiny and luminous to the extreme, its formula combined with dazzling and vibrant colors, offers a magnetic and sensual result highlighted with its “natural volume” effect. Thanks to Black Rose oil, the lips remain soft and supple with an absolute feeling of comfort. Innovative, the foam end of its applicator is stamped with a G to take up more product for a pleasant even spread of color over the lips. G for Givenchy, G for Glossy, G for Glamour, Gloss Interdit Vinyl signs a new way of applying lip gloss, at once simple and precise, that sheathes the lips in color with a single stroke. It’s a must-have for beauty addicts.

So many newnesses for spring 2018 from Givenchy – Le Rouge matte lipstick, Mat & Blur Touch Mattifying Primer/Touch Up,  Khôl Couture Waterproof Retractable Eyeliner, Teint Couture Cushion Glow Two-Tone Highlighter (dying to try this)…  Gloss Interdit Vynil caught my eye as soon as it showed up on Neiman Marcus and I ordered two shades immediately. Givenchy was kind enough to send three more shades so today I am able to show you 5 shades altogether.

Givenchy Gloss Interdit Vinyl is as luxe as it gets. It has beautiful texture without stickiness, just gorgeous moisturizing and plumping with more pigment than I expected honestly. One swipe gives decent coverage while it can be layered for more opaque coverage and more intense color on the lips. I do prefer sheer color and one coat of it is good enough for me. Some of the shades have subtle shimmer but it is extremely well done – you can’t feel it on the lips nor it migrates around the lips and it is subtle enough to be seen only in brighter/artificial light.

Gloss Interdit Vinyl 16 Noir Révélateur, an audacious and made-to-measure color for a unique makeup result. This shade reacts to every skin’s pH for a result that is totally different from one woman to another. It enhances the natural tone of lips with an enigmatic depth. Apply this shade as a top coat over any lipstick to intensify its color.

Beside Noir revelateur I am loving Nude addiction and Crazy in rose – both gorgeous pink-toned shades. Crazy in rose is a bit brighter while Nude addiction is more toned down and wearable – I would call it office friendly.

Corail Grafitti is soft coral, to my eye, it leans more pinky peach and it will be absolutely perfect for summer.

Rouge thriller is red lip lover dream come true. It glides on like a lipstick with the most beautiful subtle shimmer in it. One swipe gives almost fully opaque coverage on the lips. I have to admit red is out of my comfort zone but I am trying to get more used to wearing it comfortably.
