Gloss d’Enfer colours and shapes the smile for deceptively innocent, daringly glossy and deliciously provocative lips.
Its fine, non-sticky texture glides over the lips like a veil. Composed of mineral and botanical oils, it maintains hydration and keeps the lips soft. Intensely luminous, it guarantees a shimmering, shaping and plumping finish on the lips. Offering varying degrees of coverage and pigment intensity, sparkling or shimmer-free, 20 ultra-glossy shades colour and shape the smile.
Guerlain maxi shine glosses are my first encounter with Guerlain lip products. I adore their Meteorites and Terracotta lines so I was curious to try more from their line. First one that caught my eye at Sephora was 463 La petite robe noire (named exactly the same as their popular fragrance).
I was browsing and looking for color that’s unique and this one really stood out. It is mauve pink color with golden shimmer. That mauve part in it makes it so interesting.
Shimmer in it is not large or doesn’t feel gritty on the lips. These are not crazy shimmery like Bobbi Brown shimmer glosses or MAC dazzglasses. They are more of a very glossy with a hint of shimmer when applied. Texture feels lightweight , but moisturizing enough without any bleeding around lips.
They are sheer -at least colors I got but that’s what I like and what I look for when I buy glosses. They do have couple of shades in the range that are more opaque.
463 La petite robe noire gives enough color to be worn alone, other two can be either worn alone or over the lipstick.
460 Rose splatch is light milky pink with a lot of golden and pink shimmer in it. It would be great as a topper over another nude lipstick to give that extra glow. If worn alone it goes on almost clear. I like wearing it like that for casual no fuss makeup days. Easy to apply without a mirror when you are on the go.
461 Pink clip is soft pinky peach with tiny golden shimmer. It is so pretty for spring/summer and beautiful worn on it’s on.
Gloss d’Enfer has a soft vanilla floral scent but nothing overpowering. It fades fast after application.
It has a doe foot applicator which with it’s size allows very easy application. It also has a mini-reservoir to deliver just the right amount of gloss.
Gloss d’Enfer Lip Gloss has 7ml and retails for 30$ at Sephora and other fine retailers.
