Lancome Blush Subtil Shimmer pink pool – review, photos, swatches

This luxuriously silky powder blush glides on with its own brush to color and contour for a flawless application every time. Color stays true for hours; versatile finish never looks dry or dull, thanks to moisture-balancing ingredients that keep skin feeling completely comfortable. Oil-free and oil-absorbing. Ideal for all skin types

Today I would like to introduce Lancome blush subtil in Shimmer pink pool. It is beautiful medium pink blush with silver shimmer . It comes in a sleek black plastic packaging. I love Lancome compacts with a rose – so classy! Compact is thin and very lightweight. Purse and travel friendly. Comes with a built in mirror and a brush that’s in my opinion useless -pretty much like any other brush that comes with a blush, bronzer etc.
Total weight of the product is 5.1gr and retails for 30$. It is one of the cheapest blushes in the high end makeup category.
Lancome blushes are very underrated.  Powder is finely milled, very soft and not chalky at all. Application is easy, blends nicely and it has wonderful smell – smells soft and clean compared to other French brands that usually have very strong floral scent.
Lancome blush range is actually pretty big – 28 shades with 3 different finishes – matte, shimmer and sheer.
Shimmer pink pool is not just warm or cool it’s somewhere in between. It will work great for any skin tone. It gives such a nice subtle glow. Even though it has silver shimmer it’s very subtle and looks natural. No glitter chunks on your face.

Lancome blush with it’s quality can be compared to any other high end blush. If you have never tried it give it a chance especially to couple of classics – Shimmer pink pool, Miel glace (will review it soon), Shimmer mocha havana, Shimmer mandarin sky… They have shades for very pale skin like Cedar rose and Rose Douceur. Do not look at swatches on official Lancome website because they are wayyyy off.
Swatches on NC15/20 skin. In Lancome I wear Teint miracle buff2w or buff6w

Comparison swatch with some other pinkish blushes:
