O M G I don’t remember when I was this excited for MAC collection. MAC summer collections are always my favorite but this one might be one of the best ones in the past couple of years. From the outside packaging that is stunning pinked marble to the actual product MAC left me speechless.
All of the products in this post I purchased myself and I tried to choose ones that I would actually use and that would suit my skintone (I am around MAC nc20/30 right now). Natural Vice eyeshadow palette was a no brainer for me. I absolutely adore warm eyeshadows and wear them most of the time (honestly I do not remember when was the last time I wore cool tones on my eyes).
MAC Summer collections usually release limited edition bronzers (along with the many times repromoted Refined golden which I buy almost every year – it is my all time favorite bronzer). I was beyond excited to see new bronzer formula this year inspired by their Next to nothing powder. I don’t know if you remember Prolongwear and Careblend bronzers? Those were fabulous too. I picked out shade Canyon dreamin’ which is yellow toned bronzing powder – it is so hard finding a bronzer that is not red but yellow based. This texture is DREAMY!! It is extremely soft, silky and almost feels creamy to the touch. This is backup worthy and I do not say this often.
There are 4 lipsticks and 4 lipglasses in Electric Wonder collection and I limited myself to one – I chose Naturalist which is described as warm peachy nude (lustre finish). It gives more color payoff than I expected and it is so beautifully wearable. This lipstick and the Canyon Dreamin’ bronzer are the stars of this collection in my opinion.
I also picked up one of the Iridescent powders (this formula is repromoted). They were seen before in Cinderella and Star trek collections. These pack a lot of shimmer but not glitter. I can’t say this is my favorite MAC highlighter formula (I do prefer extra dimension and mineralize). Texture is a bit dry and migrates slightly but the color is pretty nice – it is described as warm gold which is spot on. It blended nicely with my (now tanned) skin.
MAC Electric Wonder collection is limited edition. Now available on MAC website. Get it before it sells out.
