This is not NARS’ regular spring collection, it’s more of a in between mini collection. I was drawn to both eyeshadow palettes but I only purchased the cooler toned one – Inoubliable Coup d’Oeil . Even though I usually gravitate towards warmer toned colors other palette has a lot of eyeshadows that I already have so I decided to pass.
St.Lucia Multiple (39$) is a sheer golden rose champagne. It is such a flattering color for any skin color – on lighter skin this could be used as a blush on medium and darker skin as a highlighter.. Gives just a right amount of warmth and pop of champagne shimmer. This could also be great base for some other pinky peach blushes. NARS multiples can be used on your eyes , lips, face, body… They are light cream to powder formula that I most love applying and blending just with fingers. It’s your easy 5 minute makeup item. I know with multiples women either love or hate it. I think they are better for normal and dry skin.
NARS Inoubliable Coup D’Oeil Eyeshadow Palette $48
Dalliance Eyeshadow – Dusty lilac stone
Pyla Eyeshadow – Smokey hunter green
Sidi Bou Saïd – Blackened grape
Pandora Duo Eyeshadow (left side) – Sheer white shimmer
Luberon – Iridescent sand with rose gold sheen
Pandora Duo Eyeshadow (right side) – Matte black
This palette has 4 brand new shades and two that are permanent – Pandora duo. Since I do not have Pandora I didn’t mind. Palette is cooler toned but very soft and great for everyday quick makeup routine. (can you tell I am all about easy effortless quick makeup looks?)
I’ve read some complains that darker matte shades are chalky and hard to work with. I have to disagree and tell you that the darker shades are really impressive in this palette – very pigmented, soft and easy to blend. Lighter ones do require some color building but as they are meant for highlighting and softer kind of a look I do not mind.
