I already wrote about upcoming NARS Fall 2012 collection and was most excited about Outlaw blush being re-promoted.
I did not get it the first time it was released and I know there is pretty big hype about.
For now, this is the only item I got from the fall collection.
Outlaw has been added to the permanent line (yay). Only eyeshadow trio and the nail polish from the fall collection are LE.
I do like that NARS constantly adds items to the permanent line and you have enough time to take a look at the products and decide what to get before it sells out in 3 seconds after it has been released.
Color is described as soft rose with a golden shimmer. It does have very nice golden sheen but once applied to the skin shimmer is barely there. It does fall in more of a medium/dark color family of blushes. I have to admit once I saw it in person it looked scary dark (I ordered it online without ever seeing it).
It applies pretty sheer which is good because it makes it more wearable for all skin tones, even very light ones. Although this would look great on darker skin tones.
Texture is slightly drier and not as soft as other NARS blushes.
This is pretty heavy swatch. I had to swipe three times.
This is comparison with Bourjois blush 33 Lilas D’or
And for me very important reason why I love buying directly from the official NARS website is that I always get some nice goodies.
This is the 6 piece sampler of their skincare (some of the items are new and going to be released on fall). Can’t wait to try them out!
