OPI Starlight collection

Happy holidays my dear readers and I hope you are having great start of the 2016! I am so late with this post but I guess better later than never… I have been swatching and enjoying OPI Starlight collection during November and December thanks to Preen.me and their PreenmeVIP program. I was given 6 shades to swatch and I have purchased one myself.

Cosmo with a twist is a dark navy almost blackened base with blue and purple shimmer. So hard to capture how beautiful this shimmer is. It literally looks like a night sky. Good formula , opaque in two coats and went on evenly.

Press for silver – frosty champagne rosey silver. It’s nice but it is not the color I would usually wear. I do not like to see brush strokes and I prefer cream finish. But it is a good formula, opaque in two coats and if you are fan of this kind of color/formula you might like it.
Press * for silver topped with Infraread-y to glow  – I kind of liked this chunky shimmer even though I usually am not into glitter toppers. It is fun especially for the holidays and makes a color like Press * for silver a bit less boring when worn together.
By the light of the moon – metallic silver base with large silver glitter. Interesting looking in the bottle absolutely terrible on the nails once it dries. I do not get it. I just don’t.
I am in the moon for love – one of my two favorites from this collection. Beautiful plummy purple with high shine and wonderful formula.
Center of the you-niverse – sorry for such a poor swatch of this one. It looks much nicer in real I promise. This black with tons of silver and dark grey shimmer is opaque in two coats and you will need a top coat to smooth the texture and to give a nice shine.
Romance on the moon – INCREDIBLE! Color, formula, high shine EVERYTHING. I absolutely love reds and especially this kind of a red made me fall in love with OPIs many years ago.
Thank you for being patient reading trough this long post. Have you picked up anything from the Starlight collection?
