Mineral 89 is the first of its kind for the brand, combining 89 percent of its exclusive Mineralizing Thermal Water ( until now, the highest concentration achieved was 20%) and hyaluronic acid to formulate a fortifying and hydrating daily skin booster. Vichy’s Mineralizing Thermal Water—known to help to soothe and strengthen the skin against external aggressors—is sourced from the depth of French volcanoes and is powered by 15 essential minerals. Mineral 89 helps to fortify and make the skin more resistant to help protect it against external aggressors like pollution and cold weather. The serum is free of parabens, silicones, fragrance, colorants, and alcohol making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

Vichy did amazing job with Mineral 89 packaging – it is housed in glass bottle that fits nicely in the palm of the hand (glass look so much more luxurious than typical plastic packaging) while it’s ombre blue color reminds of the French thermal waters used in the product.

It is beautiful light and fast absorbing formula. It feels and acts like a big glass of water for dry skin and as you apply it you will notice it sinks into the skin in a flash. This lightweight texture and fast absorption without any residue makes it perfect addition to any existing skincare routine. It has very simple ingredient list and since it’s free of parabens, silicones, alcohol, fragrance etc… it would suit even the most sensitive skin. This is for any skin type and any skin need . Great addition for hot and humid summer months.  And if your skin is dehydrated you will notice a lot of difference once you incorporate this in your routine – it leaves skin plumped and hydrated. This one is a no brainer for me. I added it to my routine before my moisturizer/serum morning and evening.

Beside all the benefits mentioned above there is also budget friendly price tag – 29,50$ for 1.7 oz / 50 ml and it is available at http://www.vichyusa.com/

While talking about Vichy I have to mention their face mask. I have been using and loving this trio and playing with multi masking and finding the best combo that works for me. At the end of the day I like to spend 10-15 minutes just relaxing and pampering my skin

Mineral pore purifying mask – deep cleansing and oil absorption . Since my skin is more on a dry side I only use this on my t zone to deeply cleanse pores. If your skin is combination/oily you will love this all over. It does leave skin squeaky clean

Quenching mineral face mask – instant burst of hydration! This is heaven sent for dry or dehydrated skin. I love to use this one on my cheeks while Pore purifying is on my t zone. Multi masking at it’s best. Leaves my skin soft, moisturized and plumped

Double glow peel face mask – my favorite!! I don’t do much chemical peels since my skin sometimes reacts to them but this one is gentle enough and visible effective at the same time. Leaves my skin super soft, texture looks and feels smoother, pores are minimized and it gives instant glow. I typically use this one and then follow with Quenching mineral mask for added hydration.

Vichy masks have amazing price point they are only 20$ for 2.5 oz/ 75ml and you need a tiny bit only.  Go get them! Run don’t walk.
