The beauty brand Lately has been impressing with their latest blush releases. They introduced Alezane, Sun, and Stroke of Genius de Minuit, and I have purchased all three and absolutely love them. It’s great to see them branching out from just pink blushes, although their pink blushes are exceptional as well.
Sun is a shimmery beige nude that complements lighter skin tones and works as a highlighter on darker skin tones. The neutral color suits both warm and cool skin tones, and I was pleasantly surprised by its versatility. While it may not be a unique color, it is a staple that everyone should have in their collection.
Comparing Sun to the limited edition Accent, Sun is more off-white and less mauve. While they are not drastically different or exact dupes, having both may not be necessary. Sun differs from Alezane in warmth and has a more refined shimmer. Jersey falls in the same category as Accent and Sun but has a hint of peach.
The texture of Sun is top-notchโsoft, smooth, and easy to blend. It maintains its color throughout the day without fading. The shimmer is more visible in the pan but imparts a subtle “Chanel glow” when applied to the skin.
These blushers are priced at $43, and I purchased mine from Nordstrom.
