The second shade from the Infinite Shine collection that I tried is “Can’t Be Beetroot,” a dark wine red with a creme finish. I have previously discussed the formula and application in a previous post, which you can find HERE. I prefer not to repeat myself in every post, so please refer to the link if you haven’t read it yet.
Compared to “Unequivocally Crimson,” “Can’t Be Beetroot” has a slightly thinner consistency. While the former only required one coat for full coverage, the latter needs either two thicker coats or three thinner coats to achieve the same level of coverage.
“Can’t Be Beetroot” reminds me of Malaga wine both in terms of color and formula. It has a chameleon-like quality – appearing lighter outdoors but revealing its dark and vampy side indoors. I also find it looks fantastic on toenails (I am currently wearing it).
OPI Infinite Shine polishes retail for $12.50 and can be purchased at professional salons, Ulta stores, and ulta.com.
I received 10 shades, plus base and top coats, as part of the Preen.me VIP program for my honest review.
