Replying to @neeky_noo_at_bringel my mindset behind the last point (aka the one which I dont recommend doing unless you’re ok to risk ruining an invesyment piece) is: I’d rather wear a high maintenance investment piece *often*, rather than to not wear it as often as I can because I’m too lazy to add dry cleaning drop offs and pickups to my errands list 😆 its like choosing the lesser evil. I dont do it for all dry cleaning items - just the ones I know I can possibly wear often, such as the black linen pant, and the cream over-sized blazer.
