@tasthestuff This toner is so H2O-coded, from the aesthetics of the bottle to the cute bubbles that form at the top. Weird observation, but it’s what caught my eye. I already liked one of their products from this line, so I had some expectations for this one too. I’d like to thank @Picky Shop:, @Picky Shop:, and @samu_official for sending this over in exchange for my honest thoughts on this. What Sam’u Galacto Pore O2 Toner is: - A water-based toner with galactomyces ferment filtrate - Contains 180 mL / 6.08 fl. oz. - Purpose: to refine the skin texture by mildly exfoliating it My Thoughts on This: 🌊 The first thing that caught my eye was the applicator type. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a toner with this kind of applicator, and I’m not complaining. I feel like toners that aren’t in pad form should come with this format instead. It’s less messy and makes application so much easier. 🌊 Besides the bottle’s aesthetics (which I really like), I checked the benefits of this toner too. I see gluconolactone (an antioxidant that protects the skin and exfoliates), betaine and sodium hyaluronate (for moisturizing), and witch hazel extract (for its antibacterial and soothing properties). It does contain fragrance, so if that’s something you’re sensitive to, you might want to look into whether this is suitable for you. 🌊 I’d like to preface this by saying this is NOT fungal acne-safe, as one of the ingredients, Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate, is often a major culprit for fungal acne growth. I don’t have that issue, so I personally didn’t experience any reactions. But if you’re prone to fungal acne, definitely patch test first. 🌊 The consistency is thicker than your average toner—it kind of felt like glycerin. I really like the texture, and you can feel the product absorb into the skin. The finish is semi-dewy, giving you that plump, hydrated look.
